Located on the eastern shore in the central part of Okinawa, the village is a about an hour's drive from Naha, and serves as the gateway into Yanbaru Nature Park.
Ushering in coming of Spring, the village has been hosts to the HANSHIN Tigers baseball team's Spring Training Camp, which draws many fans from all over Japan to come vist, During the same period is when our local strawberry farms are in full harvest and many also visit the village to enjoy picking these delicious strawberries.
In the summer, the vibrant Ginoza spirit can be seen and felt as activities around the surrounding bay picks up with various marine sports and dragon boat races, as well as the youth groups of various wards performing traditional Eisa dances throughout the village.
With many more activities and events held throughout the seasons, we invite you to come create new memories with us here at Ginoza Village!
